In-Kind Donations
Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida wants to partner with your business. We know the power of in-kind contributions from groups and businesses. In-kind donations allow us to build our capacity, lower our overhead, expand our capabilities, and ultimately save on our bottom line.
For Fundraising
Goodwill accepts in-kind donations of auction items, advertising, and other valuables for our fundraising events, such as the Festival of Trees. In exchange for your donation, you receive publicity at our well-attended fundraising events, as well as a tax deduction. Depending on the value of the donation, you may receive other benefits, such as event tickets. You may also purchase sponsorships for these events.
To make an in-kind donation for a Goodwill fundraising event, contact Carolyn Johnson, Vice President of Communications and Development at (239) 995-2106 ext. 2247 or via email.
Surplus Merchandise
Gifts in-kind also allow individuals and organizations to donate excess inventory or specialized products to generate more revenue at our retail stores. Talk to us about donating overstocks, returns, out-of-season fashions, and even computers and computer-related components. By donating your unwanted goods, you're making a tax-deductible contribution and supporting people with disabilities and other disadvantages right here in Southwest Florida.
To donate surplus merchandise, contact Jennifer Nelson, Senior Director of e-Commerce at (239) 995-2106 ext. 2203 or via email.
