Vehicle Donations
Goodwill accepts donations of cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, and boats at our Auto Sales and Vehicle Donation Center. Many of the vehicles donated to Goodwill are re-sold at this car lot to fund our programs and services for people with disabilities and other disadvantages. Used vehicles in good working condition are also considered for inclusion into our Four Wheels For Work transportation assistance program.

How to Donate
To donate to Goodwill, your vehicle must be titled and registered in your name, and completely paid, although we will accept vehicles with proper lien releases from financial institutions.
Donating a vehicle to Goodwill is a donor-friendly process. You can either drop it off during regular operating hours, fill out our online donation form, or contact our customer service department at (239) 652-1600 to have your vehicle towed to our lot free of charge. Goodwill offers free pickup Monday through Friday in Lee, Charlotte, and Collier counties. Please remember to remove the license plates and all personal items from the vehicle before it is donated. When donating your vehicle, make sure to have your vehicle title with you. We will also need to know the current mileage of the vehicle.
You will receive a donation receipt once you sign the vehicle title over to Goodwill. Please take a copy of the donation receipt, your license plates, and vehicle registration to the Department of Motor Vehicles to de-register the car as soon as possible. Once the vehicle is de-registered, contact your insurance company to cancel coverage (they also may want a copy of the donation receipt). You will also need your documentation to claim your donation as a charitable contribution on your federal income taxes.
